About Kimberley
I have a First Class Degree in Mathematics. I graduated this year, meaning all of the materials from GCSE and A-Level are still fresh in my mind. I studied both maths and further maths at A-Level, along with physics.
I now want to use my knowledge to help others. During my second year at university I did PALS (Peer Assisted Learning Scheme), this was where I helped first year students with any of the content they didn’t understand. This included both group and individual sessions. With my tutoring, students were able to increase their marks by an average of 10%.
I love seeing my students succeed and gain confidence as they learn. I have done over 50 hours of tutoring, and still have ongoing students currently.
I am also able to help with the UKMT Maths Challenge.

I am a friendly and reliable maths tutor. I cover anything from primary school up to and including GCSEs. This includes both Maths and Further Maths.
I am available to tutor in the way that will make the student feel most comfortable, whether that be at their own home or online.
My general structure for lessons is as follows:
• recap the previous lessons and ensure everything is understood
• go over anything they are still not confident with
• introduce the next topic
• lots of practice exercises
• a short of review of the lesson
I begin by understanding where the student is having problems. I like to personalise my teaching methods, ensuring the specific needs of each student is met. I know multiple ways of approaching various problems meaning there will always be a way they can understand. I like to ensure they understand how to do everything, not just know how to do it. I will make sure lots of practice questions are covered in the lessons, I believe this is one of the best ways to learn and understand the content.
I like to keep good structure and stay organised.
