About Angelika
My name is Angelika, a recent Maths graduate from the University of Sheffield (a top 10 university for Maths!) and an upcoming Maths PhD student. My interests in this subject include Mathematical Biology, Physics, Statistics and Probability.
I have been tutoring since I was in Year 10, mainly to Year 7 and 8 students struggling to achieve their grade. Since then, I have also tutored Maths and Chemistry at A-Level to two students who went on to achieve A* in both subjects, as well as at University to peers and at a local school. I want all my students to not only succeed, but also exceed their expectations and grow their confidence in applying maths into academia and everyday life. Seeing my previous students do just that has inspired me to continue tutoring to a wider audience, in hope of helping even more students succeed and excel.

As a Maths graduate and upcoming PhD student, I have the essential knowledge equipped to help build a connection between the concept and understanding it, as well as experience from tutoring Maths to GCSE students for two years. I will offer one hour one-to-one maths tutoring to GCSE and A-Level Maths students (ages 14-18), but can make exceptions to those with a keen interest. Each lesson will comprise of a warm-up, examples and practice questions in line with the AQA/Edexcel/OCR exam boards at a pace the student is comfortable with. I am hoping to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere so the student is comfortable asking all sorts of questions, whether it be maths or college/university related!
