About Thanusan
Hi! I'm a First-Class MEng Biomedical Systems Engineering graduate from the University of Warwick, with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Having recently completed my own studies, I understand how challenging certain subjects can feel and how much difference the right support can make. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, encouraging and tailored to each student's individual needs.
I'm patient, approachable and committed to helping students feel comfortable asking questions, no matter how simple they might seem. My goal is not just to help students achieve better grades, but to build their confidence and develop a genuine understanding of the subjects they're studying.
Throughout my engineering degree, I've gained extensive experience in mathematical problem-solving, scientific analysis and explaining complex technical concepts clearly. I bring these skills into my lessons, making difficult topics easier to understand through practical examples and step-by-step explanations.
Whether you're preparing for exams, struggling with a particular topic or simply looking to improve, I'll do my best to make every lesson productive, supportive and enjoyable.

My approach to tutoring is simple. I believe everyone can succeed in Maths and Science with the right guidance, patience and encouragement. I aim to create a friendly and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I start by understanding each student's strengths, weaknesses and learning goals. I then tailor my lessons to their needs, breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. I use real-life examples, worked solutions, practice questions and past papers to help students understand topics rather than just memorise answers.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although I'm happy to adjust the duration depending on the student's needs.
I graduated with a First-Class MEng in Biomedical Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick, where I developed a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and problem-solving. My engineering background allows me to explain complex scientific concepts in practical, easy-to-understand ways.
I offer lessons for primary, secondary, GCSE and A-level students, whether you're struggling with a particular topic, preparing for exams or simply looking to improve your grades.
Above all, my goal is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence and help every student reach their full potential.
