About Rithuvarshan
I’m a First-Class Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Warwick with a strong passion for biology and helping students build confidence in the subject. Having studied biology from school level through to university, I understand how challenging topics can feel when they are explained too quickly or made unnecessarily complicated.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy breaking difficult ideas down into clear, manageable steps and helping students reach the point where everything “clicks”. My approach is patient, supportive and academically focused, with an emphasis on genuine understanding rather than simply memorising information.
Whether a student is trying to strengthen their foundations, improve their exam performance or aim for a top grade, I want them to leave each lesson feeling more confident and capable than when they started.

My lessons are focused on making biology clear, logical and easy to apply rather than relying on memorisation alone. I break complex topics into simple concepts, use diagrams and real examples, and then reinforce understanding through targeted exam-style questions. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are tailored to each student’s level, strengths and areas for improvement. I can support students with GCSE/IGCSE, A-Level and IB Biology, whether they need help understanding difficult topics, improving exam technique or aiming for top grades. I graduated with First-Class Honours in Biomedical Science from the University of Warwick, giving me a strong foundation across areas including cell biology, genetics, physiology, biochemistry and human disease. My aim is to help students understand why biological processes work, so they can confidently tackle unfamiliar questions rather than simply memorising mark schemes.
