About Camila
No matter what you need from my lessons, I strive to help you in your academic journey. The important part of learning is understanding that the process isn't linear. I want to encourage students to be proud of every step in their years of learning. Having an in-depth understanding of a subject is about fully comprehending the topics and applying them in an exam by following the evaluation criteria. That is what I want to do. As a Venezuelan girl, who did the International Baccalaureate in Ecuador, I know best how tough it can be to understand complex topics like Biology. Biology is one of the most beautiful subjects in STEM because of the incredible pathways in molecular and cellular levels. All students need is to allow themselves to learn, accept mistakes, and learn from them.

As a current university student and a graduated IB Diploma student, I know what a student needs for a lesson and how to treat them the way they wish teachers treated them. At the same time, help them with concepts they don't understand. I want to bring their best academic performance by tailoring lessons for each student, using a variety of techniques that cater to the student's learning style. Also while using assessments to evaluate the stage where the student is at and proceed from there. My main goal is to help the student improve their knowledge, to be proud of themselves, and communicate what they need to continue their growth, so that they enjoy their academic journey.
