About Paris
I’ve always loved helping people when it comes to academics. The way I see it, if I’ve got something to share, why would I keep it to myself. There’s nothing more enjoyable than watching someone grasp a concept they were struggling with and watching the moment it all clicks in their head. I want to be a neurosurgeon, which is going to take a while but in the meantime I want to help other people achieve their goals. My main sources of experience are my younger brother and his friends, who have really helped me establish an effective teaching style. I am more than aware that different people require different amounts of attention and time to learn different subject areas, and I am very patient in that sense. In my spare time, I love to sit down with a book and a cup of tea, do random activities with my friends and binge watch the same shows over and over. Oh, and I love a good chat!

Maths and sciences have always come relatively easy to me, which may not be very convincing when looking for someone to teach those subjects but as such I was able to take time to really understand and break down concepts and complex formulae (with the help of further maths), and use that knowledge to help my peers who might’ve been struggling. I’d say I’m good at finding ways to explain concepts in ways that make sense to an individual and I’m very patient but also capable of giving a good push. I took Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Further Maths for my A Levels and achieved A*A*AB respectively. I find that confidence plus a study technique that works for you, is the best recipe for results. I’m very sociable and love a good chat so I hope to make learning a fun experience for both of us!
