About Marc LY
I am a university student currently studying Economics and Statistics at UCL, on track to graduate with First Class Honours.
Having recently sat my A-levels and GCSEs exams obtaining top grades, I have a great understanding of where the syllabus can get tricky and the methods required to get past those sticking points, as well as knowing exactly what examiners are looking for and the most efficient ways to pick up marks.
I remember well what it felt like to struggle with a topic, and helping my students break down and understand difficult ideas is something I genuinely enjoy. Every lesson, explaining these concepts also helps me sharpen my own understanding of the material.

I aim to gauge my tutees' learning style and pace in trial lessons, enabling me to personalise a learning plan to ensure the process is interesting, clear and concise for my student whilst also allowing them to achieve their full potential.
