About Lewis
My names Lewis and I’m a first year chemistry student at the university of Leeds.
I know how tough of a nut chemistry can be to crack, and I want to help fellow students who are in the position I was once in, desperate to increase their grade but unsure as to how.
It’s tough and will take time and effort.
But chemistry at A level is almost like a jigsaw puzzle, once the main bits of the course are mastered, the understanding of the more difficult content will fall into place.

Chemistry can be broken down into 3 components:
Organic
Physical
Inorganic
To succeed in chemistry, it is essential to have a solid understanding of all three.
In the first lesson with me, I will learn where your strengths and weakness lie and therefore be able to tailor my teaching specifically to your needs.
With Chemistry at School level, to achieve the highest grades, it’s about being clear and concise with your answers, it is often students write too much without even ticking off the main marking pointss
I achieved an A* at A-Level Chemistry in 2024, having struggled with chemistry in early year 12 and achieving a D grade, I worked hard to increase my grade.
In my lessons I will share the techniques, skills and tips I used to improve my grade.
