About Simran
My name is Simran. I am due to begin my first year of Dentistry at university. I have a great passion for science, particularly chemistry, and supported my knowledge during my A-Level study through reading chemistry-related books.
I tutor GCSE and A-Level Chemistry, and A-Level Physics. I achieved 10 A*s at GCSE (Grade 9 in chemistry and physics) and have achieved 3A*s at A-Level (biology, chemistry and physics). I want to share the methods that have allowed me to perform consistently well in these subjects. I have regularly coached and tutored Year 11 pupils at my school while I was studying for my A levels. These pupils were predicted Grade 6 and with my support my made significant progress and achieved Grade 8, and I hope to continue helping others boost their grades.

I believe in having a firm understanding of subject content before moving onto exam questions and papers. Once this has been achieved, this understanding can then be embedded into long-term memory through practice questions and application. Lessons typically last 1 hour, with a focus on GCSE and A-Level. I have regularly coached and tutored Year 11 pupils at my school while I was studying for my A levels. These pupils were predicted Grade 6 and with my support my made significant progress and achieved Grade 8.
