My goal as a tutor is to inspire a lifelong love for learning and empower my students to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and confident individuals. By meeting their individual needs and nurturing their unique abilities, I aim to create a positive educational experience that sets a strong foundation for their future academic and personal success.

I teach K-12 Reading and Writing. I teach solely based on the needs of the children and their individual learning styles. As a previous Kumon staff of two years, I worked with many students with many different needs. I assigned work according to the students’ pace, learning ability and factoring in the students’ other extra curricular responsibilities. I recognize that every student has a unique learning style, and I strive to incorporate various techniques and strategies to accommodate their needs. I utilize a balanced literacy approach, incorporating phonics, sight word recognition, comprehension strategies, and vocabulary development. Through individual and group reading exercises, I foster a love for reading and help students become confident and proficient readers.
