My name is Ashton, I’m 18 and I’m studying mathematics at the University of York. I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others and helping people to gain their footing in mathematics and I’m even considering becoming a teacher in the future.

My usual approach to teaching involves taking a topic that the student is confused with, going over an example on my own as a demonstration, explaining my work as I go, followed by an example which we will work through together. I have had success tutoring family and friends in the past, and would like to provide my skills to any GCSE student in need. My lessons will tend to last for an hour, however I’m happy to adjust this if needed.
