About Manna
Hi! I’m a first-year Medical Student at the University of Lincoln with a strong interest in Biology and Chemistry. I achieved an A in A-level Biology and 9s in both my GCSE Chemistry and Biology. I enjoy helping students understand topics in a simple and approachable way, rather than just memorising information. I will teach in a way that ensures you have fully covered your specification and understand the content. I also have experience tutoring 15–16-year-old students in GCSE Chemistry, helping them understand difficult topics and prepare for exams. I’m patient, friendly and happy to adapt lessons to suit each student’s learning style. As these sessions are to help you achieve the best results, I will listen to you and alter my sessions to be more engaging and helpful to you: I will help you in any way by providing tips that helped me during my GCSE journey.
Outside of studying, I enjoy keeping active, spending time with friends and family and exploring new places.

My sessions would ideally be an hour long and during these sessions, I would firstly go over any topics the student wishes to go over. Otherwise, we would go over all the bullet points of the specification and ensure the student fully understands and has covered it.
Additionally, the sessions would consist of a variety of different learning techniques such as practice questions, diagrams and blurting. The sessions would be modelled and fit to help the individual so after the first session I can change how the lessons are run to be best suitable for the students themselves so they can achieve the best results. I would also ask for feedback from the students and see whether there are any gaps in their knowledge which may need to be addressed next session.
The sessions are aimed for those doing GCSE Biology and Chemistry so anyone 14 and above.
