About Esha
I am a first year student at University studying Pharmacy. This means that I have a fresh understanding of how it feels to sit through exams and the pressure which many students place on themselves to perform well. My target is to provide the best service for my students where I am confident in their ability to perform in exams. I will try my best for you to understand concepts and link them across to other topics which is a key technique required when answering exam questions and analysing information. Alongside the academics I will encourage you to be more confident in lessons and exams where you are under timed pressure and I am positive that this will be achieved.
I also have interests in sports, where I have played on several teams and furthermore I am passionate about music as well, using both of these interests as my outlet from studying (which is necessary at times!)

An hour-long class is normal, during which I spend the first few minutes reviewing the prior lesson and asking a few brief questions. I will then proceed to spend 30-45 minutes explaining content which students themselves are struggling with or would like to receive help with by going through exam-specific key words and concepts and linking them to other topics within the specification to get a wider viewpoint. This will be put into practise by going through prior test questions and then consolidating the material by responding to a harder-style exam question ultimately reaching a stage where the student and I are both pleased with the knowledge attained.
I am wanting to teach both GCSE and A-Level students for all year 10 and upwards. I have prior teaching experience from tutoring family members, close friends, younger siblings, and pupils in lower grades.
My qualifications:
Grades 7-9 in GCSE, with an 8 in Biology
4 A-Levels graded B,B,C,C with Biology (B)
Extended Project Qualification in a Biology Topic - Grade A
