About Anwesha

I have taught students of class 11-12..they have scored good in their respective exams..some of them have chosen statistics as their career.. I have completed my graduation from Calcutta university this year with 73.5% in honours..now I m preparing for masters.

What motivates you to teach & why?
It's really a beautiful feeling to teach others..It helps me a lot also.. I have learnt so many things from my students.
When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?
During my graduation course.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My role models are my school teachers and tutors.. mainly My stat tutor in B.Sc course..He was my idol.
Whatever statistics I have learnt, I have learnt from him.
What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?
I was a little bit shy..So at first it's quite difficult for me to interact with my students..But then I overcame this problem.
In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?
I think love for the subject or topic..That is the main thing.
What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?
I would tell him or her my story... nothing is difficult..we just need to focus.
How does someone become a Super Prof?
Love for his/ her subjects.
