About Manya
I’m a driven and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for science and problem-solving. I love how creative and satisfying it can be to understand challenging problems, and I get real joy from helping others understand new concepts and overcome difficulties. My approach is interactive and tailored to each student, focusing on building confidence, deep understanding, and practical skills of each subject. I aim to make learning enjoyable and empowering, so students not only succeed but also develop a genuine interest in the subject.

My approach to tutoring focuses on building a clear understanding of concepts first, rather than just memorising methods. I break topics down into simple, manageable ideas and adapt explanations to suit how each student learns best. Once the foundations are strong, I place a big emphasis on practice questions, as I believe this is the most effective way to build confidence, improve exam technique, and achieve excellent grades.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long and aimed at A-level students. I have one year of experience teaching biology at the GCSE level and some experience teaching mathematics, however I'm comfortable teaching other science subjects as well (mainly physics and chemistry).
I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help you succeed in exams, but also to develop your exam confidence and independent problem-solving skills.
