About Will
I am a first-year dental student at the UNC Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry and a proud UNC undergraduate alum. I graduated from UNC with Highest Distinction and transitioned directly into dental school, giving me a strong academic foundation and a clear, current understanding of what it takes to succeed as a pre-dental student. I have advised many other pre-dental students and many of the ones I worked the closest with got into dental school this cycle. I am very friendly and warm and truly want to help in any way I can. I have previously only done free advising but I decided this would be a good way to make a bit of money to help pay off student loans.

Hi! I’m a first-year dental student at UNC Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry and a dedicated, approachable tutor who enjoys helping pre-dental students succeed both on the DAT and in the dental school application process.
I recently completed the DAT and successfully navigated the dental school admissions cycle, so I offer up-to-date, practical insight into what actually matters. My teaching style is clear, structured, and high-yield, focused on understanding concepts, improving test-taking strategy, and building confidence—rather than memorization.
I offer tutoring in:
DAT Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Quant reasoning, and Reading Comprehension
PAT strategies, timing, and problem-solving shortcuts
Study schedules and efficient DAT prep planning
In addition to DAT tutoring, I also provide pre-dental advising, including:
Strategic course and extracurricular planning
Identifying ways to strengthen and differentiate applications
Personal statement brainstorming, editing, and refinement
Interview preparation and admissions insight
