About Ayeka
After achieving all A*s at GCSE after not believing I could do so, I realised that I really wanted to help others to achieve last what they believe their potential is. It’s important to also recognise that everyone has a different method of learning. I will really try and see what is suitable for my student since I myself didn’t like flashcards but learnt best visually. Whereas my friends learnt best with constant flashcard practice. I also had some great tutors growing up and so I would love to tutor as well.

Having tutored students at school during A levels, I learnt that even after trying to understand a topic, you never fully get it unless you do practice questions and learn from your answers after marking. This not only helps you gain better understanding, but also of points that you may have missed. Then next time repeat the question and see whether you can get more of the marks. Over time each question you practice will help solidify knowledge of the topics, hence allowing you to perform better in the exam. When actually teaching the content, I see what helps my student learn better, either visual learning, flashcard practice, videos, questions etc. so the right approach can be utilised in maximising the ability for my student to understand in a way suited for them individually.
