About Hritika
I am a first-year student at the University of St Andrews, studying International Relations, Modern History and Sustainable Development. My degree places a strong emphasis on analytical writing, research and critical thinking, skills that are central to success in Geography.
Having recently graduated high school with A grades in Geography across the three levels has left me with an understanding of how demanding these courses can feel but also with an up-to-date knowledge of SQA course specifications, mark schemes and examiner expectations. This allows me to target exactly what is required for success at each level.
I aim to be an approachable and patient tutor who not only explains material clearly and adapts explanations until they make sense but also helps with structuring answers and communicating ideas effectively on paper.

My lessons are structured, supportive and exam-focused, designed to help students understand topics deeply and apply them confidently under exam conditions. Emphasis is placed on practising exam-style questions and learning how to approach them effectively, so students know exactly how to turn their knowledge into high-mark answers.

• There is a strong emphasis on exam technique, including essay structure, source analysis, data handling and effective time management.
Overall, lessons are designed to help students feel prepared, confident and in control going into assessments.
