About Andrew
I am a young working professional. I have an affinity for structure and learning, so education is an avenue of passion. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies from Bucknell University (Lewisburg, PA) in 2019.
I believe anything is attainable if one has the focus to seek answers. Consequently, the most valuable thing I try to teach others is how to ask the right questions.

I teach through to two main methods: the socrative approach and simplification.
Questions are the basis from which I can derive a plan to work with a student's strengths and weaknesses. I discuss the nature of achieving goals, schedules, and how to approach the daily challenges of life by breaking it into parts. Something I like to touch on is aiming for the middle ground between rhythm and focus; working on a task for a while gets one into an efficient rhythm, yet sometimes overload can be draining to one's attention span. I strive to show how to discover total efficiency through balance.
To teach the material itself, I strive again for a model of breaking the subject into parts. I am very good at coming up with clear concise examples to build a base of knowledge. From there, I guide the student through other examples, even so far as to allow them to create and execute their own examples. Repetition leads to mastery. Upon achieving mastery, we can build on tackling further complexity and application. Referencing the fundamentals stays key to my strategy. Looking at the base for all the applications is how students can mentally simplify a complex issue.
