About Nicolaus
Hello! I recently graduated with a B.S. in both Biology and Neuroscience with a 3.99 GPA. On the MCAT, I achieved a 91st percentile, with a 96th percentile in the Biology section. Throughout my time in college I took the most challenging courses I could in preparation for medical school. This provided a very thorough understanding of the basic principles of general biology along with more upper-level topics such as immunology, biochemistry, anatomy, cellular biology and molecular biology. My neuroscience major consisted of courses such as neurobiology, neuroanatomy, and neuroendocrinology among others, but also involved many psychology heavy-topics. I have now been intensively studying and tutoring Biology for 7 years.

I run engaging tutoring sessions, and start a lesson by testing what you understand. I absolutely love breaking topics down by starting with their simplest fundamental principles and building on complexity from there to find any gaps in knowledge along the way- and watching a student's understanding grow.
