About Xitlalli
I am a student whose first language is Spanish. I have experience helping students with AP Spanish, Spanish immersion courses, and know Spanish at an academic level. I have been a spokesperson for Latinx organizations and have hosted a Spanish-language television segment on Univision and Telemundo. I also have experience translating scientific research about the environment from English to Spanish for an international non-profit for which I am the Marketing Director.

My teaching method is one where I make myself a mentor and friend to my students to create a dynamic that allows students to be honest and comfortable with me. I have experience interacting with students that have special needs and coaching students who are learning English as a second language, so I take a very patient approach. I am mainly seeking to tutor students K-12, however, I will not oppose supporting college students as well! Classes will be constructed in a way to support student needs in school as well as offer additional resources for improving areas in student's Spanish learning journey where they feel challenged.
