About Mary
I'm Mary! I'm a UCD graduate with a Classics, English, and History degree. I'm originally from Carlow, but I live in the Dundrum area of Dublin.
I speak fluent Irish, having gone to both Irish-speaking primary and secondary schools.
I currently work in a museum, where my love for history just keeps growing! I have a particularly patient and easy-going nature, which allows me to approach lessons with an attitude that puts students at ease. I want my lessons to feel engaging and fulfilling, so I try to bring a positive energy to every student I meet.

☆ I can tailor lesson length to whatever your needs may be! My lessons are aimed at Secondary School students of all ages, who feel they might need an extra push in Irish.
☆ I can provide additional support for students in poetry, aistí Gaeilge, grammar, prose, comprehensions, listening exam, and the scrúdú béal.
☆ I have an easy-going approach to grinds, wherein we'll chat through whatever areas you feel you need to focus on, and I will provide personalised notes for your studying needs. My aim is for a student to leave my lesson feeling more confident in their subject, so that they can approach their future study with a more focused, grounded foundation.
☆ I have several years of experience with tutoring, particularly with one-on-one sessions. I've done a lot of lessons for the Irish oral exam, and have plenty of practice correcting essays, reassuring nerves, and finding resources that work for everyone.
