About Martina
I am an experienced Saxophone tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college learners, and working professionals. I enjoy guiding students at different learning stages and helping them grow musically with confidence.
My teaching philosophy is based on clear understanding and practical learning. I believe students should know why they are learning each technique and how to use it in real music. I use real-life musical examples, demonstrations, and structured practice to make lessons meaningful.
I focus strongly on communication, honesty, and discipline. I explain concepts in simple English and ensure students feel comfortable asking questions. Regular practice and consistency are encouraged to support steady improvement.
My saxophone lessons include posture, breathing techniques, tone development, finger coordination, rhythm training, scales, music reading, and expressive playing. Lessons are customised based on individual goals and skill levels.
Many of my students have shown strong improvement and confidence over time. Teaching saxophone is my passion, and I am committed to helping students achieve long-term musical growth.

My saxophone teaching approach focuses on clarity, consistency, and understanding. I believe music learning should be simple and enjoyable. I use real-life musical examples and case studies to show how saxophone techniques are used in real performances.
I start by understanding the student’s learning style and musical interests. Lessons are flexible and structured. I focus on breath support, tone development, finger coordination, scales, articulation, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression.
Clear communication is central to my teaching. I explain lessons patiently and encourage open communication. Demonstrations and guided practice help students improve effectively.
Integrity is a key part of my teaching philosophy. I provide honest feedback and motivate students to practise consistently. In addition to saxophone lessons, I also teach supporting subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and performance basics. My aim is to build confident and musical saxophone students.
