My teaching approach to Python is systematic and clear, helping learners break down complex coding concepts into simple, understandable steps. I work especially well with learners who think like Environmentalists and Marine Biologists—those who want to use Python as a tool for analysis, automation, or data-driven research. I guide them in applying code to real-world problems, from processing datasets to modelling systems. Every concept is reinforced through hands-on practice and simple coding exercises. I give consistent feedback to help learners recognise patterns, improve structure, and write cleaner code. Problem-solving is at the core of every lesson, whether we're debugging or designing a solution from scratch. I emphasise logical thinking and step-by-step methods so students gain confidence in writing and understanding Python. We build toward more advanced projects, including automation scripts, data visualisations, and research-based tools. My goal is to support each learner in mastering the skills needed to use Python effectively and independently.
