About Grace
In 2022, I graduated with a BS in Forensic Science from George Mason University. While a student, I am proud to say that I worked as a Trainee Chemist with the Naval Research Lab, primarily investigating explosive powders and their transfer principles. I also worked as a Learning Assistant for a Forensic Trace Evidence course, where I acted as a resource for forensic science majors to go over course material with. Since graduating, I have worked in a plant genetics laboratory preparing samples for PCR testing, using qPCR and gel electrophoresis. I love the principles of science, and take pride in my ability to communicate the nuances of science and math to any student.

As a tutor, it is my job to meet every student where they are. I'm not going to force you to come to my level - I will find you at yours. My lessons focus around empathy, passion, and a deep understanding of the subject material. A session with me will start with the big picture: why is this important, why should you be motivated to learn about it, how can we apply this to you and your life goals? We'll then dive into the details to deepen your level of understanding. I'm a big believer in questions, open dialogue, consistent affirmations, and discussion-based learning.
