About Shanice
I am proceeding towards completing my bachelor's in education and am currently finishing my degree in forensic science and technology. I aim to ensure that my students understand each lesson and effectively meet our class objectives by being on time and prepared for each class in an environment fit for learning.

My main method of teaching varies between inquiry-based and lecture-based teaching. I will present the lesson and clearly state our objectives at the start of each class and I encourage participation through open ending questions, brainstorming, and problem-solving throughout the lesson. My lessons are targeted at the understanding of students from the middle school to college level. I also try to be as accommodating and sensitive towards those with any learning disabilities such as, but not limited to, dyslexia or ADHD.

Perfect! The first thing that sold me on Shanice was how quickly she responded to my request for our 1st lesson. My son was having difficulty with Pre-algebra and needed immediate help. She was able to accommodate us the following day which was amazing. Her methods used to simplify and explain the work made it easier for him to understand and work out on his own. She also gave him homework which was very helpful, his grade has already improved.
