About Ann

I have a Bachelor of Science in Organization Communication with minors in telecommunications and business. I earned my teaching certificate in 7-12 grade Language Arts which allowed me to teach English, Speech, and Theater. I am a published author as well as a travel writer. I have three children and two have special needs. I am familiar with IEPs and take a different approach to tailor my teaching to the student's needs.

About the lesson

I believe in meeting the student where they are and devising a plan that addresses their strengths and weaknesses. Lesson plans depend on the goal of the student. Do you have a senior research paper due? Middle school expository writing? Struggling with Romeo and Juliet? Or have you been assigned a speech? Moved to a new district and need some extra help? I can help with all these areas and others.

Former certified English teacher with experience in expository/thesis writing; creative writing; literature as well as speech and theater.
