I was at an elite school and had stumbled through Orgo I with a B. In Orgo II, I began imploding because my fundamental knowledge was weak. I tried three tutors before finding Dave. He is a scientist and an academic. Before our sessions, Dave would scrutinize my material and then teach accordingly, ensuring high yield and preventing me from making easy mistakes.

I was on the path to dropping, which would have set me back at least a year towards applying to medical school. Instead, Dave rescued me from a W to a B+, and I’m convinced I’d have gotten all A’s had I initially started with him instead of in the final hour.
