About Fawwaz
I, being a recent GCSE candidate; having a passion for mathematics enables me with well equipped knowledge to share and aid in progression not only in academics, but also fundamental skills that are required in day to day life through maths being a key to unlocking deep thinking skills. My achievements in school such as the "jack Petchey award" and being a peer mentor showcases my intense leadership skills, allowing me to be a well rounded student across the board of subjects, which in return suggests me as a person who can tackle challenges and pass this crucial skill to our younger generation, to equip them with better and a more successful future through teaching maths as a means to find the hidden potential in other students.
In the foreseeable future, my goal is to enter a highly regarded sixth form, taking my maths knowledge to a greater level achieving bigger and better opportunities, in the pursuit for a career in teaching mathematics.
I am also very interested in sports and team games, which emphasizes my ability to synergize with others, and help younger students do the utmost best they can.

My teaching method stands out, because it prioritizes engagement and understanding, making learning not just effective, but enjoyable. By incorporating real-world applications, and interactive activities, I ensure that every lesson resonates deeply and remains memorable. However, this is also up to the student’s capability to keep up to date with topics and discourage forgetfulness. Furthermore, I adapt my teaching style to accommodate different learning preferences, ensuring that every student can thrive.
If the student wishes to travel to my home for a more effective and helpful lessons, we would use a whiteboard to showcase examples; make the child used to exam style content. Homework will be given, in order for the child to practice in spare time. As they say, "Maths is not a spectators game". we need continuous practice to become the best that we can. If a student wishes for remote lessons online, they will be held via teams and/or zoom.
Lesson timings for me are flexible, however, the most convenient timings would be Saturdays, either mornings (9:30-12:30) or midday (13:00-15:00pm).
