About Nathan
Hello,
I am Nathan and I am a former A-level student, having sat my exams in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and French, achieving an A* in each. I am going to study Economics and Mathematics at University this September. My subjects greatly interest me and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. My recent experience as a GCSE and A-level pupil means that I am both well-familiarised with exam syllabi and able to relate to students’ needs. In addition, I have recently completed a three-month French language exchange programme, which has furthered my knowledge of the language beyond A-level.

Communication is one of the most important aspects of tutoring and is most important when I first meet a pupil, where I get to know their take on what they already know and which areas they feel they need to improve on. During each session, I try to make my explanations as interactive as possible so that my pupils can think for themselves, allowing them and me to recognise more easily what they do not fully understand about the topic. This knowledge is then put into practice through exercises and then exam questions that both test understanding and push for progression.
