About Julia
I started piano lessons at the age of 3. Music is just in me and I believe we can express our emotions through instruments. I have been playing professionally since age 14. I graduated with music honors from Marymount Catholic Girls School in Palos Verdes., California. I am patient and willing to help any child or adult who wants to learn the piano or keyboard in order to reach whatever goals they have in mind. I have played with the best of them and have gone to many concerts with eyes glued on the piano players' hands at every band performance I went to. I was classically trained when I was young but I wanted to be more jazz oriented. I am good at country, pop, light jazz, etc. I can show you the blues riffs that great players use and then some. Music is in my soul. It's the best thing you can do for yourself, learning an instrument and I hope I can help.

I am an older lady with many years of playing for the public. I have had teachers for classical and light jazz lessons for most of my younger life. I am very interested in sharing my knowledge I have picked up from other musicians with myt students. I am more into styling rather than straight on technique. I would also like to work with younger students in the Autism spectrum as I have experience in that field as well as a direct support professional and I know the keyboard comes easily to them if they are so inclined. I am equally inclined to share my knowledge with begging students of all kinds. I was 3 years old when I demanded to have piano lessons and got them. From age 3 until 25 I was always having weekly lessons . I started performing publicly at age 14 on television shows with my teacher at that time. I hope you will give me a shot at your piano/keyboard adventure. Music is my life and it should be shared.
