I teach Algebra I–II, Precalculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Calculus I–II.
At the age of 15, I wanted to graduate early, so I studied independently and learned Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus I and Calculus II. I had to work hard for this, but I've learned about the beauty and simplicity of math if we take the right steps.
Whether math feels natural or like trying to teaching a goose to play chess, we’ll work together to reveal its beauty and build real confidence!
Math builds like a skyscraper: if the foundation is shaky, even a small breeze can cause problems later on. That’s why I always encourage students to solidify the basics if we need to, even if there's some other homework to do to. I like to use Khan Academy for practice because it’s clear, useful and flexible. Lessons might typically involve going over key concepts, working through problems together, and then applying what we’ve learned to homework.
