About Elaine
I believe that you can do anything you put your mind to, because the only thing strong enough to limit you is YOURSELF. My word of advice to young people is, "just because other people are succeeding does not mean you are failing." Comparison is a thief of joy. Allow yourself to grow and take each day at a time.
I have tutored for a year, so I'm not the most experienced person out there, but I am willing to learn with you. But I will ensure that once we start learning together, confusion will be a thing of the past for YOU.

I make stories out of the concepts taught, so that if you understand the story you understand the concept.
As someone who once hated maths, I will teach you to change your attitude towards it until you DO LIKE IT.
Once someone likes something, putting in effort would be voluntary.
I prefer to teach in English.
Students are expected to feel motivated after a lesson with me. And much more confident,leaving the lesson. Confidence, was a major issue for me, not that I wasn't smart enough or didn't understand. But I doubted my ability to be right at anything because maths is "difficult"
I prefer learners in grade 8 and 9, because basics are key to the rest of your high school career. Once you have the basics, you are set for life.
