About Linsay
I am a former music student at Grant MacEwan University’s guitar program. I have acquired the majority of my experience teaching young guitarrists at the beginner level as well as tutoring junior high and high school students with music theory.

I teach my students how to play, practice, and love their instruments through basic playing techniques, ear training, and music theory. I also teach my students how to improvise over different styles of music such as pop, jazz, and contemporary music.

Perfect! The first question Linsay asked was "what are your goals?" Then she custom crafted our lessons to meet those goals. She has gone at my pace and shows up prepared to each lesson with new exercises, techniques and songs to progressively build on what I'm learning. She has also shown me practical tips to better understand and improve my guitar playing.
