About Theresa
I am a student and tutor, taking and tutoring in a wide array of classes in fields such as biology, english, history, linguistics, psychology, neuroscience, etc. I have been a tutor for 3 years, have consistently been on the Dean's List at my college for 5 terms, and hope to become a neuroscience researcher and professor in the future

I tend to base my classes on conversational learning with a focus on having students come up with their own examples, asking them questions about material and their understanding of it, drawing or writing my examples and definitions then asking students to do the same with their own. It has been shown that generating your own information and making it relevant to you is one of the best ways to remember it and to build confidence in it, so I encourage students to do so while keeping them on track and accurate in their generation of information.
