About Ana
I am a physics student at the University of Oxford currently in the fourth year of my course. I have been tutoring for about 3 years now at various levels (GCSE, A-level, IB, university entrance exams) and have been successful in helping my students achieve or even exceed their goals. My teaching experience combined with my experience in experimental physics labs allows me to make the lessons fun, giving examples of the practical applications of the topic in question.

I understand that each student has a different way of comprehending new material and a different pace of studying. That's why each time I start tutoring a new student, I discuss with them what suits them best. Typically I start with some theory revision and then move on to various examples that best illustrate the material being studied. By watching how the student copes with the examples, I can see which areas are well understood and which need more emphasis. I think that encouraging learning comprises of the support of family and friends, as well as enjoying the subject and not stressing too much over exams.
