About Emilie
I am 23 years old. Born in Paris, France, I was raised there from ages 9 to 19. Before that, I spent the first decade of my life traveling the world due to my parents' careers, living in Northern and Eastern Africa as well as the United States. I recently graduated in May with a degree in Psychology and Political Science from Syracuse University. Now, I am seeking a summer job as I transition to living in New York City.

I attended competitive private French schools throughout my life, where I learned a rigorous approach to studying. Since I was 14, I've been tutoring in both French and English, developing a technique that blends fun with structure. My lessons are tailored to meet the specific goals of each student, whether they're young children or adults.
Having taken both the International Baccalaureate and the language component of the French Baccalaureate four years ago, I know all the best tips and tricks for effective studying. I can also help you perfect your accent, expand your vocabulary, enhance your conversational skills, and assist with writing emails and official documents.
A unique advantage I offer is that my sister, who shares the same qualifications, also lives in New York. If you or your child has a friend or sibling who also wants to be tutored, we can arrange joint sessions for a more dynamic learning experience!
