About Sarah
I am a recent graduate of the University of Galway, where I achieved a First Class Honors BA in French and Irish. I have always had a strong passion for languages and education, and I love helping students develop their confidence and skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to teach in a middle school in Lille, France, which gave me valuable experience working with students of different ages and abilities. This experience strengthened my passion for teaching and showed me how rewarding it is to help students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my lessons to your individual needs, strengths, and goals. My aim is to create a relaxed and positive learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building your confidence. I want every student to reach their full potential and to develop a genuine enjoyment of language learning!

I offer tailored French and Irish lessons for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students. Each lesson will be adapted to your own needs, level and goals. Lessons typically last one hour and include a mix of oral practice, written exercises, listening comprehension and exam-focused activities.
I previously worked as a language assistant in a French middle school for a year and have experience providing private language lessons to students of a range of ages and abilities. My aim is to make lessons engaging, supportive and focused on building both confidence and strong exam skills.
