About Gorba
I am a cancer researcher and I come from France.
I have worked both in France, in Paris in an hospital, and her, in Karolinska Institute. I love to share my knowledge about science of course but also about the French language and French culture. This is the reason why I started to do a French/Swedish language exchange when I arrived here.
There are a lot of words in Swedish that come directly from French which means that you already know French without even knowing it! (Around 20 percent from what I've heard!)
It is going to be fun and (quite) easy to learn French then!

To be efficient, I think that it is important to adapt to my students. I mean that I always start with an evaluation of my students level before I start teaching French.
I don't believe in the "one size fits all" method but rather believe that everybody is different and therefore has different needs.
I want to get to know my students and what they like or not, in order to make it fun to learn French. The course will articulate around subjects that are the most attractive to keep them focused.
To teach something is not only about passing knowledge but also about listening and understand how things are going for the student. Feedback is thus necessary to create a course that works for all of us.
The course can be held at your place or over the internet via skype.

Perfect! Trevlig och kompetent! Uppskattar snabb återkoppling och bra hemuppgifter mellan lektionerna.
Perfect! Gorba förstod exakt vad och hur jag behövde hjälp. När jag exempelvis hade frågor eller behövde hjälp med att uttrycka mig lyckades han alltid förklara på ett sätt så att jag förstod direkt. Det känns toppen och jag är jättenöjd!
Perfect! Lär mig otroligt mycket och min franska har blivit så mycket bättre på kort tid! Rekommenderar varmt att ha lektioner med Gorba!
