About Éva
I am a French professional singer specialized in Baroque and classical singing. I studied at Notre-Dame de Paris and I am currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Baroque Singing at the Conservatoire Régional de Paris. I also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Singing in the Netherlands, where I studied singing pedagogy and developed my knowledge of the voice, breathing and vocal technique. I perform in different projects, both as a soloist and ensemble member.

My lessons are targeted for singers and musicians interested in French repertoire, focusing on diction, pronunciation and phonetics (IPA) for opera arias, melodies and choir excerpts. I teach pronunciation of modern French, historically informed French Baroque, historically reconstructed French and historically informed Latin French.

• Translation and understanding of the text — exploring the meaning, context and expression of the words
• Phonetics and pronunciation — working on vowels, consonants, syllables, liaisons and French diction
• Phrasing and language — understanding how the French language influences musical phrasing and expression
• Repertoire selection — I can help you choose French repertoire for recitals, auditions, competitions or practice
