About Benjamin
Currently teaching at Kent University, I am student in one of France major schools ("École normale supérieure" in Paris), and I was ranked first in French national teaching examination in grammar (2020). After a literary preparatory class, I turned to Indo-European grammar, with a specialization in Scandinavian languages (during my Master degree) as well as in Latin and Greek (during my examination to become a grammar teacher). As part of my studies, I took a course in French as a foreign language ("FLE") didactics, which I will apply this year as a French lecturer at the University of Kent (United Kingdom).

Due to my current job in the UK, but also in response to the health crisis we are experiencing, I will be teaching via webcam this year. Because of my formation as a grammarian and my ability in different modern languages (English, Spanish, Swedish mainly), but also my precise knowledge of the history of the French language and its evolution from Latin, I am able to explain with precision to the students the difficult points of the French language, from the spelling of "eau" to the rules of succession of pronouns, drawing, as far as possible, parallels with the languages known to the student. Having started several languages myself in the past few years (German, Dutch, Portuguese), I know the difficulties and frustrations that learning a new language can present, from the most basic sentences to mastering its subtleties.

Benjamin m'a aidé tout au long de mon année de Khâgne à travailler le Grec ancien. J'ai commencé cette matière en hypokhâgne, c'est-à-dire un an auparavant, et je présentais des difficultés dans la méthode de la traduction. Grâce à ses conseils j'ai pu progresser rapidement et m'améliorer considérablement. Par sa maîtrise de la langue, ainsi que ses capacités pédagogiques et sa patience, Benjamin constitue un professeur véritablement digne de confiance.
