Valerie is a great teacher. She makes learning french very enjoyable. She is friendly and laughs often. Her laughter helps to settle my nerves and also it encourages me to engage fully with the lesson. As I am a complete beginner she has focused on making the lessons fun in order to keep me motivated and interested. She encourages me to speak french which has had the effect of broadening my vocabulary and knowledge of grammar. As I am an avid reader, Valerie has introduced stories into our lessons; and being able to read and understand simple stories has been rewarding and good for my confidence. Valerie has been brilliant and I am looking forward to the day when I am mistaken for a frenchman!

Valerie is a born teacher and trainer. She has patience and always finds what's best for you to help you learn better. Easy to understand and chat too and made tutoring a pleasure dor the time I was with her especially with her sense of humour. Highly recommend her as a tutor and an asset to any role she throws herself into

Although she didn’t teach me French, she did train me for my current job role.

She was so lovely and was very patient with me. I had just moved house and the service was awful but she always made a way.

The way in which she teaches is amazing and the quality of service she provides is outstanding. Not only that but she I still keep in contact with her to this day and I finished my training in August!
