About Sara
Hi! I recently graduated from high school, where I completed both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and French Immersion programs. I am currently studying Arts & Science at McMaster University, having been admitted with a competitive 97% average. Having recently gone through high school myself, I understand the challenges students face and what it takes to get into their dream university program. I began tutoring in person in Grade 11 and decided to take it more seriously in Grade 12 to help finance my first year in residence and meal plan!

Having completed more than 12 years of French Immersion and IB French B HL, I specialize in Canadian French as well as preparation for the DELF and DALF exams. I can also help IB French B students prepare for their May or November examinations and Internal Assessments (IAs).
My lessons are tailored to each student's needs and focus on building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. A typical lesson includes reviewing concepts, practicing with targeted exercises, and working through exam-style questions or conversational activities. I emphasize active use of the language and provide detailed feedback to help students improve naturally.
Lessons are available for elementary, secondary, and IB students, as well as anyone preparing for French proficiency exams or looking to strengthen their conversational skills.
