About Ruby
My journey with French began as a fascination with its beauty, depth, and precision. Over the past eight years, I’ve transformed that passion into a teaching career dedicated to helping others experience the same connection. From my first classroom lesson, I realized that French teaching is not just about language—it’s about opening doors to new perspectives, art forms, and cultures. I find great joy in watching students grow into confident speakers who see the world with broader vision and appreciation. My teaching approach is warm, patient, and adaptive. I tailor lessons to individual goals, whether academic success, travel preparation, or professional advancement. I combine structured grammar work with creative conversation and cultural exploration to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. My classroom values curiosity, participation, and authenticity—students are encouraged to express themselves, make mistakes, and grow without fear. Outside of lessons, I stay connected to French culture through reading, travel, and continuous study. I believe that to teach French well, one must also live it—through art, conversation, and human connection.
