About Celia
I am a French tutor with 7+ years of experience teaching students across all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. During this time, I have guided 150–200 students, helping them improve fluency, succeed academically, and develop confidence in using French.
My teaching approach is personalised and student-centred. I design lessons that cater to individual learning styles and goals, incorporating grammar, vocabulary, conversational practice, and cultural understanding. I aim to make lessons engaging, practical, and relevant, ensuring that students can apply their knowledge in real-life situations.

Empathy and compassion guide my interactions, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and building confidence. Communication is central to my methodology; I simplify grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation while incorporating interactive exercises to strengthen comprehension and retention.
Collaboration allows students to take an active role in their learning, set achievable goals, and track their progress. Beyond French, I can assist with related subjects such as writing, literature, and comprehension to provide a well-rounded academic experience. My methodology not only develops language proficiency but also fosters curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning French.
