About Capucine
My experience as a teacher is very wide. I have taught adults as well as children, teaching me various ways of approaching how a language is taught. The levels were also very varied. I was employed by parents as well as by tutoring organisations and my employers were always happy with my work. I know learning a language can be tough so I make a point in alternating (notably with children) grammar and more fun subjects about French culture and history. After all, a language is not just grammar and vocabulary lists! I play upon the interests of my students so as to render the learning much more motivating. I have in my possession a wide range of books and graphic novels in French and my specialisation is in history and fantasy literature, yet is not limited to those either.

I use a lot of material in the form of books, exercises and graphic novels in French, as well novels, which I all possess already, so as to render the lesson much more interesting. I play on the interests of my students to help make the learning easier. The repetition of the basics I find crucial as they are the foundations of a language.
My lessons are usually an hour long, to two hours for adults if they wish to be. I may do more for adults if they desire so too.
I have worked extensively as a tutor, both in English in France and in French in the US and the UK. It was usually for children, from very young to teens but progressively I started to work quite a lot with adults as well. I've done in-person and online tutoring and have worked for tutoring organisations. As such, I am willing to teach all levels for all ages.
