About Amanda
Bonjour, I recently moved to Adelaide from France and am currently in my final year of a Master’s degree in Languages, Literature, Civilization, and Foreign Cultures. Before coming to Australia, I taught at a middle school in France, and I’m now working as a French teacher in several schools across Adelaide, from primary to high school. Having grown up surrounded by different languages, I deeply understand the value they hold as well as the challenges that come with learning one. I’m fluent in four languages, and this personal experience has shaped the way I teach: with empathy, patience, and cultural awareness. Teaching is my passion. I love working with children, but I’m equally enthusiastic about helping adult learners. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your skills, I’d be delighted to support you on your language journey.

Before we begin, we'll have a short conversation to assess your current level and discuss what you'd like to focus on. From there, I’ll design lessons that suit your needs—whether it's mastering everyday vocabulary, practicing grammar, or building confidence in speaking. I make lessons engaging and interactive, using visual aids, videos, authentic texts, and practical exercises to make learning effective and fun.
