About Romain
I am a young, serious and rigorous French teacher. I have always been passionate about languages and my university courses have trained me to teach French language and culture to all kinds of audiences, especially to learners whose mother tongue is not French. I have experience teaching French in an association providing language courses and professional training to a very diverse migrant public. I also have volunteer experience teaching French in private lessons. Finally, I have experience creating educational content for international officers within a team of experienced French teachers.

My teaching method is personalized according to the objectives of the learner but also his linguistic and cultural background. A first meeting allows me to assess its level of language, to identify gaps and to identify precisely his expectations. For oral comprehension and expression work, I adapt the knowledge I have acquired during my "Corrective verbo-tonal phonetics" course to develop a personalized work plan. I then adapt my strategy and my priorities according to the evolution of the sessions and the progress achieved. Concerning the written expression and comprehension, I alternate between the traditional methods of exercise and more recreational activities with cultural content : In the end it all depends on the learner's expectations. I try to always offer varied and fun sessions to create a dynamic and I periodically take time to listen to requests and remarks. I gladly use new technologies but parsimoniously and on the condition that I am sure they are serving the intended purpose effectively. My experience and knowledge in multimedia creation and especially in sound engineering allow me to create original and personalized media.
