About Devika
I am a French Teacher at Alliance Francaise de Bangalore with a Master 1 degree in 'French as a Foreign Language' from University of Paris Descartes, a bachelor's degree in French Literature from University of Mumbai and a Dalf C1 from Alliance Française de Bombay. I have lived in France and have also worked closely with a lot of French people through the course of my professional journey. Worked as a Translator for a few years and taught french as a hobby to people of all age groups. I am now based in Bangalore and I do private tutoring at home for adults.

I use a communicative, action and task based approach to teach french. My sessions are interactive and fun and focus on speaking, listening, writing, reading and phonetics (pronunciation). I use a lot of audios and videos that help opening up to the french culture. Lesson plans and activities vary according to the student's requirement. I am a certified Delf examiner and can prepare you for the same. I do individual classes as well as tiny group classes at home.

She speaks like a native, is what her French friends from her time in France say about her. I guess that's down to living with a French family during her stay there. Knowing their culture and ways has given her an advantage in being able to comprehend how to go about teaching the language. If you wish to learn the language, learn it from the best. Being a student of a foreign language myself, I can assure that's a must for anybody who wishes to start. I'd recommend Devika for anything to do with the French language!
