About Laurence
Qualified Ontario teacher since 1972, 28 years experience tutoring in French and English. I have specialized in IB French for the last 15 years. I have taught dozens of students privately who have remained with me for more than 5 years.

My French lessons (based one hour) start with conversation, followed by grammar and or vocabulary sessions. The final part is reading. My homework assignments reflect the need to develop writing and to increase vocabulary. Features I use to build language skills are the Progymnasmata, Sentence Combining, and Creative Writing.
